Propulsion is provided by an electric drivetrain with hub motors in the rear and a pedal-driven dynamo to charge a 1200 W⋅h battery. A single charge is sufficient for 60-70 km of travel. Each of the four 20-inch wheels has hydraulic disc brakes. The on-board infotainment system is launched after connecting a smartphone with a special application.
The nFrontier company intends to put the UILA into mass production in 2024. The estimated price is 10,000 euros.
