Probably everyone remembers the movie Back to the Future and the DMC-12 car from Delorean that became legendary thanks to it. Now the recreated company is working on the concept of a new car, in which everything that fans liked is rethought. The project involves almost serial Alpha5 coupe – it has turned into an ultra-futuristic concept car Omega.
The electric car looks quite nice, but does not stand out against its competitors. It is able to accelerate to a hundred in just 3 seconds and has a range of 480 kilometers. The updated version of the Alpha5 will be released in 2024, but the Omega still looks like a designer’s entertainment. Expect its release in the next few years is definitely not worth it. But the car deserves a more detailed story.
It shows the brand’s designers’ vision of the car of the future. It will be difficult for us to understand why the doors have no glass. But no one will be able to provoke the driver to race from the start at the traffic lights. Lattice rear windows have been transformed into a series of rising hexagons. Unusuality is also present in the textured tire rubber. The suspension is flat and open, with no visible connection to the wheels.
